Dear Ritz students,

It is after careful consideration and with a wide range of emotions that we write you this letter informing you on our decision to temporarily suspend services offered at the Jupiter location of the Ritz Ballroom.  For some time now we have considered a move to a location more conducive to meeting the needs of our staff and students and  what our big picture vision of the Ritz Ballroom was meant to be.

After the loss of my husband, the studio founder, and the tumultuous happenings since, I have decided to put the majority of my attention on the love of my life and his too, our 14 year old daughter Kiandra. Considering everything she has been through as well I have no doubts that my decision is what’s best for her.

It is David’s intention to continue teaching in the area as an independent teacher and working towards the goal of one day having a re-opening of the Ritz in its grandest version imaginable.

It is both of our hearts desire that no matter what you continue dancing and experiencing all the wonderful benefits it can bring to your lives. We have always believed in what we are selling because it changed our lives forever too. Please  let us all not forget that initial spark that drove us all to want it and go after it with our heart and soul. We love you and stand beside you and more than anything your happiness is what we were always after.

In the mean time, you should be informed that the new tenants Linda Zarak and Alex Garcia will take over possession of the space through a lease agreement completely separate from the Ritz Ballroom. They will be coming in as their own entity and in no way will the Ritz Ballroom be affiliated with any of there business or what they do with it. It is very important for you to understand that they are a new business and will be solely responsible for any liabilities occurred.

If you have any remaining lessons on the books you will have received a check by mail for your full refund from the Jupiter school. We just want you to know how much we truly appreciate your business and your support over the years and who knows… maybe one day we will meet again on the dance floor!
